A recent email was sent out advising the following:

At a recent Board Meeting the Board approved the mailbox replacement for the unit that contained the outgoing mail (units 111-118, 121-128, 211-214) as well as the USPS Access Panels. The mailbox has been ordered and the vendor advised the current turnaround time is 12-14 weeks.
Please be advised the mailboxes are privately owned and each unit owner is responsible to replace or make any necessary repairs to their specific box.
The Board met with the USPS vendor and he advised there are a number of units that have the incorrect lock/cylinder. Using the incorrect lock/cylinder makes it easier for someone to pry the box open with an object. It is recommended by the vendor that owners use the manufactured lock for these type of mailboxes. These locks can be purchased and installed by B&F Industries for $95.00.
You can contact Will with B&F directly at 702-646-2200 to schedule.
The Board also approved the following at the same meeting:
*Wifi - Internet to be installed at the clubhouse which will allow the Board to install cameras to monitor areas such as the mailbox room
*Mailbox Gate - It has been brought to the Boards attention that the gate has not been rekeyed in several years. As you may be aware, the community has a lot of turnover with tenants and all owners do not retrieve the key back upon move out. Once the gate has been rekeyed, the Board will coordinate with owners on retrieving a new key. New keys will be provided at no cost to owners who return the old key upon pick up. More information to be provided on a later date.
*Lighting - The Board is looking into installing better lighting at the mailbox area to illuminate the area.
